The Nintendo Book Tag

Today I have for you *drum rolls* “The Nintendo Book Tag”. Thank you so much The Book Mermaid¬†for tagging me.

When I was younger I loved to play Nintendo,  I would take mine everywhere. Mario Bros was my election game, I loved to play that. Also Mario Karts and Nintendo Dogs. When I was not reading I was playing that ahahah. What about you guys? Did you guys used to play Nintendo?

NES (Nintendo Entertainment System): A classic you want to read

Yes I haven’t read this… YET! I will and I heard so many good things about this book. Hopes high for this one.

SNES (Super Nintendo): A sequel you liked more than the first (can be a second book in a series)

It was hard to choose one for this one, but yes I liked Chamber of Secrets better than The Philosopher’s Stone. Which Harry Potter book is your favorite?

Nintendo 64: A book that revolutionized the way you look at the world

I read this book when I was about 11 or 12 years old and I had been asking for this book for ages and my mom gave it to me on my birthday, I was really happy when I got it! I used to read other books but this book was the one that marked my journey into the world of books because when I finished it I started reading more and more. I finished a book and I immediately started reading other. This book also shown me that there is a lot of evil in the world, I was reading this stories of a girl my age who had to hide who couldn’t go to school and ended up being killed, it definitely changed my way to look into the world.

Gamecube: A popular book that did not go over so well with you

I still can’t understand how people liked this, I mean the story is funny but c’mon is nothing out of this world. But I own a few books by E√ßa de Queiroz and I am giving him another chance someday.

Wii: A new favorite book

I just love this book so much, please guys you must read it! I can’t wait for the second book to come out.

Nintendo Power: Favorite graphic novel series or a series you want to start

I want and need to start this series! Everyone says it’s amazing and the synopsis of this first book really got me excited.

Super Mario: A character that you’d love to squish like a Goomba

Sebastian! I just hate him…

Zelda: A newer fantasy that you consider to be a modern classic

I had to choose Harry Potter, it fits perfectly in this topic

Samas-Aran: Favorite sci-fi novel or one you want to read

I really want to read this, the story seems a lot of fun and I heard so many great things about it. Can’t wait to read it!

Pokemon: Book editions that you want to collect

I really want this Harry Potter collection. I only have two books (different editions) and the others I borrowed from friends and the library. As I really want to re – read them I am thinking on buying this collection soon.

Donkey Kong: A book with original characters

The characters in this portuguese series are amazing!

Nintendo Fandom: Favorite Nintendo game(s) or game

Super Mario is my favorite Nintendo game of all time!

October 2016 Wrap Up

Hello guys! I know I haven’s posted for a while, but university is taking so much of my time! I can barely breathe. And that’s the reason why I only managed to read one book this month, but it was an amazing one.

Os Tr√™s Reinos by Sandra Carvalho:¬†in english the title would be something like ” The Three Kingdoms”, it’s the 5th book of a series called ” A Saga das Pedras M√°gicas” (in english somehting like ” The Magical Stones Series”). I wish these books were translated to english because they are really amazing, and I wish everyone could read them. I loved every single book of this series until now, the author amazes me in every word she writes. I rate it 5/5 stars.
